The action consisted of the participation of partner I-Deal in a round table in the second session of the event (June, 30th) with the objective of presenting the project objectives.
TorinoFashionMatch 2017 was the second edition of a brokerage event focused on Textile and Fashion Industry, organised by Unioncamere Piemonte, where companies, fashion designer, agents, producers, distributors and brands active in fashion and textile, had the chance to meet potential business and technological partners.
The Event was organized in the framework of the second edition of the Torino FashionWeek#2 (27th June – 03rd July 2017), 7 days of fashion catwalks, workshops and events.
After the success of the 2016 edition, this year the event confirmed the position of the city as Fashion and textile hub, joining tradition and innovation. As the organisation claims, Torino represent a pit stop for fashion beginners, addressing, in that way, to emerging fashion designers who work in a very exciting environment finding inspiration from the new trends and innovation released by the city and from the huge tradition the territory has from the very past, with his famous Italian textiles’ brands and manufactures companies.
The b2b sessions were realized in collaboration with the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) and supported by the EEN Sector Group Textile and Fashion committed to bring European fashion and textile producers together to enhance opportunities and commercial partnerships. Through joint activities the Sector Group supports creative companies finding partners for joint projects, exploring new markets as well as sharing knowledge, ideas, innovation and inspiration.
The project was explained in a round table dedicated to “Digital services new trends and case studies in the Fashion industry”; the event consisted of a presentation from each participant (5 in total) and afterwards a discussion and a round of questions.
The presentation of Morpheos was based on a public set of slides focused on anthropometric data collection and analysis for textile and clothing sector applications, aiming the introduction of the project to companies, potential end users. The presentation included the first mock-ups of the Morpheos platform under its commercial name for fashion: “ISizeYou”.
